Founders’ Day 2025: Remembering the Man, Celebrating the Mission

On 14th July 2025, the Priyadarshani Group of Schools observed Founders’ Day with deep respect, reflection, and community spirit. Held at an auditorium, the celebration brought together trustees, teachers, students, parents, and members of the Priyadarshani family—united in their tribute to Late Shri Indraman Singh Sir, the visionary who laid the foundation of the institution over four decades ago.

The event began with the National Anthem, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial diya in front of Shri Indraman Sir’s portrait—a moment of reverence that set a respectful and heartfelt tone. A graceful Ganesh Vandana dance performance opened the cultural segment, paving the way for a thoughtfully curated lineup of tributes.

The highlights included three choreographed dance performances, each inspired by a core value from Sir’s life—his determination, belief in inclusive education, and commitment to creating lasting change. More than just performances, these were expressions of his legacy translated into art.

A deeply moving moment followed as a video tribute chronicled his journey—from modest beginnings to building an educational movement that today spans 43 impactful years. The film offered not just milestones, but insights into the intent, challenges, and passion that shaped his path and influenced countless lives.

Adding a special presence to the occasion was celebrated actor Makrand Anaspure, who spoke candidly about the value of staying grounded and the transformative role of education in shaping society. His remarks resonated with the spirit of the day and the values that define the Priyadarshani ethos and of course made people “laugh”!

The event also honoured individuals outside the institution who have contributed meaningfully to society. The Samaj Ratna Puraskar and Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar were awarded to changemakers who exemplify commitment and service. Alongside this, the school also felicitated its toppers, underscoring the continued pursuit of excellence that defines Priyadarshani.

The event was well-paced and immersive—marked by applause, quiet reflection, and shared pride. Every segment added meaning to the celebration, making it both personal and collective.

Founders’ Day 2025 was not about spectacle—it was about significance. A reminder that true legacies live on in values, in action, and in the everyday efforts of a community committed to moving forward with purpose.
